Woodmont Real Estate

Woodmont is a residential neighborhood of single-family homes located in North Arlington, just west of Rosslyn.  Originally developed in the 1960s, many of the homes in the neighborhood have been extensively remodeled or even torn down and rebuilt.  Architectural styles include an eclectic mix of traditional brick ramblers, Colonials and a more recent infusion of Craftsman and contemporary styles.  Mature landscaping and a hilly terrain offers seclusion and privacy not typically found in a neighborhood so close to the District.

Residents enjoy visiting the 19-acre Fort C. F. Smith Park for picnics, games and hiking.  Convenient access to shopping is available at Lyon Village which offers a Giant Food Supermarket, CVS, Starbucks and more.  The commercial districts of both Cherrydale and Clarendon are also located near to Woodmont.

The Woodmont neighborhood is bounded by Nelly Custis Drive, Windy Run and the GW Parkway to the north,  Lorcom Lane and Spout Run Parkway to the south and Military Road to the west.  Woodmont is served by the Taylor Elementary School, Swanson Middle School and Washington-Lee High School.
