Park Grove

For a contemporary enclave in McLean, it’s time to take another look at Park Grove. The new community traces its roots back to land formerly belonging to the director of the National Park Service.  Today, it’s quickly becoming a new and exclusive community. Just like the name implies, if offers a parklike setting, including some private green space that’s open only to residents of Park Grove.

Park Grove Homes

Park Grove makes room for just eight single-family homes, all of which sit on lots of up to one-third acre in size.  Some of the homes in the new community are under construction right now by the Gulick Group. All of the homes are part of the company’s Parkline Series.

Generally, the homes range on the larger size, with around 5,600 to 7,200 square feet of living space. Priced above $2 million, the Parkline 60 model home has up to five-bedrooms and six-baths. It also comes with a chef’s kitchen, a breakfast room, and the option of an office and an elevator.

The Parkline 80 model includes six-bedrooms and seven-baths. This plan provides a formal living and dining room, plus an optional elevator and a second owner’s suite. It also comes with an optional three-car garage, while both models include a partially finished basement.

The home plans are customizable, with high ceilings and contemporary flair. You’ll find either granite or quartz kitchen islands and a butler’s pantry in the new homes.

Park Grove Location

With an emphasis on indoor-outdoor space, the walkable community offers the advantage of appearing somewhat sheltered from the surrounding area, but at the same time it sits right in the heart of McLean.

The development of Park Grove sits conveniently close to several major roadways, plus it’s only about a mile away from the closest Metrorail station. You’ll find it right along Inverness Park Lane, close to the intersection of Davidson and Chain Bridge roads.
