Read MoreCherrydale is an established neighborhood of largely single family homes located in the heart of North Arlington, Virginia. Its history dates back to the late 19th century when it evolved from a rural agricultural center to a residential community.
Today, Cherrydale retains a small-town flavor, despite being just 3.5 miles from the District and a host of urban conveniences. The housing stock is primarily comprised of older residences flanked by stately trees, many of which have been recently rehabilitated and preserved for historic reasons. Residents can also choose from one of four townhouse developments as well as two large condominium buildings.
Cherrydale is bounded on the north by Lorcom Lane and Old Dominion Drive, on the east and south by I-66, and on the west by North Utah Street and the H.B. Woodlawn School property.
