Neighborhood Spotlight: Fairfax
Fairfax, Virginia, is part of the Northern Virginia region approximately 15 miles to the west of DC and south of I-66. Ranked #3 by Forbes Magazine in the 2009 "Top 25 Places to Live Well," Fairfax received high marks for its strong public school system, quality of life and close proximity to the DC area.
Attractions
Fairfax boasts a number of attractions, including:

Fairfax is also home to the George Mason University and its popular Patriot Center. The Ringling Brothers & Barnum and Bailey Circus comes to the arena every year, along with many other events, such as:

The arena recently underwent a $10 million renovation to add new bathrooms, concession stands, a new box office and a new facade for the entrances.
