Nationals Stadium Food Deal Extended
Baseball season isn't far away and the Washington Nationals are expected to be very competitive again this year. The team recently made the news by extending their multi-year deal with Levy Restaurants to provide the food service at the stadium. Levy has been responsible for the food at the stadium since 2009. The exclusive deal not only extends the food service, but will also provide new offerings. The farm-to-table program will be expanded to include more fresh meat and produce options at the various locations. Other additions include local sourcing from 3 Stars Brewing Company, DC Brau and Port City Brewing Company. All three of these companies will provide "District Drafts" in four locations around the stadium. Many other new items will be added to the menu at the stadium for the 2014 season including:
- Hand-rolled sushi
- Jumbo lump crab cakes
- Stir-fry to order noodles
- Gluten-free options
- Vegetarian menu
No longer are you limited to the choice of a processed hot dog and a domestic beer at the stadium. With many new food options, more fans will be able to create their own ballpark traditions. Along with the new food deal, fans will enjoy the new digital menu boards and other upgrades meant to help get fans in and out of lines fasters. Other new food offerings will also be available outside the ballpark. These upgrades are all a part of the new agreement with Levy and will provide a better overall fan experience. The home opener will be against the Atlanta Braves on April 2nd. Come out and enjoy all the new additions to Nationals Park this season.
