Belle Rive is a storied Mount Vernon riverfront community located in Alexandria, Virginia. Perfectly situated at the junction of Ferry Landing Road and Old Mount Vernon Road, Bell Rive overlooks the banks of the Potomac. The community is home to many gracious river estates with water views and even river access just steps away from the back door. With the majority of the homes constructed in the 1960s and 1970s, owners have invested in substantial renovations to add modern conveniences such as a new kitchen or expanded bath without affecting the original charm of the property.
Belle Rive is also close to many of Mount Vernon’s parks, including Grist Mill Park, Mount Zephyr Park, and Piscataway Park. The nearby Mount Vernon Country Club provides additional diversions with an 18-hole golf course and formal and casual dining. Local schools include Mount Vernon’s Washington Mill Elementary School, Walt Whitman Middle School, and Mount Vernon High School.
