Wesley Heights Real Estate
Located in the northwest quadrant of Washington, DC, Wesley Heights is an affluent, residential community dominated by stately single-family homes. Developed in the 1920s by W.C. and A.N. Miller, the same team behind neighboring communities, Spring Valley and American University Park; Wesley Heights was one of the first master planned communities in the U.S. It featured a shuttle to the Wisconsin Avenue streetcar as well as a community club house -- amenities which were considered progressive for the time. Despite being known for its elegant homes set back on tree-lined roads, Wesley Heights is also home to several upscale town home and condo communities, including Sutton Place, and Foxhall. Foxhall Road is the main roadway running through the community, featuring a mix of Tudors, Colonials and Georgian estates architected on generous lots.
Wesley Heights boundaries include Nebraska Avenue to the north, Glover Parkway to the south, New Mexico Avenue to the east, and Battery-Kemble Park to the west.
