North Cleveland Park Real Estate
North Cleveland Park is a peaceful neighborhood in the northwest quadrant of Washington, DC. Home to a number of embassies, including those of Austria, China, Malaysia, and Singapore, to name a few, North Cleveland Park is also the site of the Van Ness campus of the University of District of Columbia. Other notable employers include Intelsat, which has its headquarters there. The embassies and associated police presence add a strong feel of security for residents. Another draw is the comparatively low price of single family homes, compared to other District addresses. Properties range from largely Tudors and Spanish revivals constructed in the 1920s and 30s to more traditional colonials and row houses. Despite the suburban feel of the neighborhood, residents cite the convenience of nearby retail shops, boutiques and eateries.
North Cleveland Park is served by the Van Ness Metro Station on the Red Line. Boundaries extend from Albemarle Street NW to the north, Tilden and Upton Streets, NW to the south, Connecticut Avenue to the east and Wisconsin and Nebraska Avenues, NW, to the west.
